Quantum principles and Life
Human experience or life can be described as being a continuing process that flows according to a certain pattern. This life pattern is determined by our personality, actions and reactions. Each moment the quality of our experience is therefore determined by the dynamic balance of our mind and body as these can be considered the vehicles of mentioned personality, actions and reactions.

In order to study experience as a whole we first need to have a clearer idea of the basic nature of reality that is in
Quatum Mechanics related to Kinetic energy, Electromagnetic energy and the Gravitational forcefield. These are principles that most of us have read about or heard about in secondary school.

You may also know that our body is mostly made up of Water. From our Chemistry classes we may remember that Water consists of the atoms Hydrogen and Oxygen that have either a positive (H) or negative (O) charge. This polarity of an atom is determined by the number of electrons that are missing or that it has in excess. When we bring together two Hydrogen and one Oxygen atom we know that these two integrate into H2O. What we haven't been aware of however is how the fundamental Quantum Mechanical principles (Kinetic, Electromagnetic and Gravity) facilitate this chemical process.

Quantum Mechanical principles:

  • Kinetic - Its functions are activation and movement. For example the activation and movement of the Hydrogen and Oxygen atoms towards one another across space and time is called Kinetic. Kinetic energy activates, is responsible for propulsion, movement and pressure. In the above diagram the Kinetic is furthermore ascribed the function of feeding forward information to inform the Electromagnetic forcefield of its action.
  • Electromagnetic - Its functions are that of polarization and attraction. For example the polarization and attraction between atoms H and O as this involves the flow of electrons is called Electromagnetism. In the integration of the atoms into a Whole (H2O), energy/heat is dissipated to its environment. Another entity H2O with its own characteristics is thus formed. This is called a transformational process that involves change. In the above diagram the Electromagnetic is also ascribed the function of feeding back information to the Kinetic forcefield about its impact on the system as a whole.
  • Gravity - Its function is to stabilize. In the example the mass of the separate atoms and their integrated whole is connected with the Gravitational forcefield. In the above diagram Gravity is ascribed the function of maintaining information about the content and state of the system. In this particular example about the H2O molecule. This information about the state is communicated to the Kinetic and information about the balance is communicated to the Electromagnetic.

Mentioned Kinetic, Electromagnetic and Gravity express themselves in many different forms. The following is just a shortlist of possible manifestations of mentioned dynamic functions.

Representations of respectively the Kinetic, Electromagnetic and Gravity within different contexts:
  • Psychological - Thinking, Feeling, Introspecting
  • Physiological - Neurological, Digestive/Assimilation/Metabolic, Immune System
  • Neurological - Ortho Sympathetic, Para Sympathetic, Cerebro Spinal
  • Hormonal - Adrenal, Acethylcholine, Melatonine
  • Ayurvedic - Vata (Wind), Pitta (Bile), Kapha (Phlegm)
When we look at reality from the above Quantum mechanical perspective we can view our body as being made up of numerous organic structures that are constantly transforming (anabolic and katabolic processes), that are in constant movement and that constantly dissipate energy to their surrounding environment. The field of Biophysics studies in great detail how Quantum Mechanical principles influence the balance of living systems.

Living Systems Organization & Communication is a way of describing the dynamics of any living system be it the formation of cellular structures, the neurological, organic, hormonal, psychological, and much much more.
