We believe that by providing information, resources and programmes regarding Traditional Medicine and based on Holism, Process- and Systems philosophy we can contribute to the growth and development of our modern health care-, ecological, social- and economic system by helping to enrich the lives of individual persons. In this way we hope to be able to contribute to the habitual health awareness and health condition of our society as a whole.
Stimulated by the World Health Organization (www.who.org) governments have started to develop policies to adopt and integrate those modalities of healing that activate and strengthen the natural healing capacity of mind and body. We are talking about the two major existing traditional systems of medicine and Complementary and Alternative Medicine or CAM for short. Even though it is relatively young Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) rapidly gains more momentum. Evidence based research shows how it can effectively complement the practice of Conventional medicine.
